Open to all Vehicles - Limited to 40 cars, entry on a first come, first serve basis so register today!
3:45pm - 4:05pm - Participants will arrive to park their cars
4:15pm - Event Starts
5:45pm - Awards Announced
6:20pm - Trunks may leave
- Trunk participants may enter any vehicle (Car, Truck, Motorcycle, Tractor etc.) as long as it is independently mobile to and from the location and fit in the parking space.
- Trunk participants must provide own power if decorations need it.
- Each vehicle must be decorated in some way, though the decorations do not need to be Halloween themed or abundant.
- Each vehicle gets one parking space.
- Vehicle decorations must be socially acceptable and appropriate for children younger than age 5. Vehicles displaying profanity and/or overtly adult themes and/or content will not be permitted to participate in the event. Event staff maintain the right to ask participants with inappropriate decoration displays to leave the event.
- A secretly appointed judge will be given the opportunity to vote for the vehicle that has their favorite decorations per category.
- Each trunk participant must arrive with wrapped candy or non-edible giveaway items to distribute to attendees. Trunk participants will under no circumstances be permitted to distribute unwrapped candy or food products. [Estimated 400 candy seeking attendees]
- Trunk participants will not be permitted to distribute flyers, cards, or information advertising their group, business, or programs. Trunk participants will not be permitted to sell any items from their cars or solicit cash or donations in any way. This includes tips.
- Trunk participants should arrive with their decorated vehicles by 3:45pm in order to be prepared to begin passing out candy at 4:15pm when the event begins. Vehicles may arrive as early as 3:30pm should they require additional set-up time. We ask that no vehicles leave prior to 6:20pm or when the okay is given by parking lot volunteers.
- An adult must remain with the vehicle at all times.
- NO MASKS PERMITTED
Liability
In consideration of the acceptance of the right to participate, entrants, participants and spectators, by execution of this entry form expressly release and discharge Share Benny’s Kindness (1322 E Fillmore St, Colorado springs, CO 80907) and its officers/members/volunteers and anyone else connected with the management of presentation of the Stratton Meadows Trunk or Treat of or from any and all known and unknown damages, injuries, losses, judgements and/or claims from any causes whatsoever that may be suffered by any entrant to his person or property. Further, each entrant expressly agrees to indemnify all the foregoing entitles, firms, persons and bodies of any and all liability occasioned or resulting from the conduct of entrants or any participant assisting or cooperating with entrant and under the direction or control of entrant.
By submitting registration below, I have read and agree to all conditions of the Stratton Meadows Elementary Trunk or Treat, 610 Brookshire Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80905 and rules governing the event as set forth on this form and agree to observe all rules and decisions of event management.
